International Women's Day 2019

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY 2019

TO THE AMBITIOUS WOMEN, THE BRAVE WOMEN, THE LAZY WOMEN, THE AIRHEADS AND GENIUSES, THE BUBBLY AND THE SASSY....

To the affectionate women, the anxious women, and the breezy women. The passionate, the peaceful, the graceful, the clumsy, the nasty… To ALL women, Happy International Women’s Day. We just wanted to say we appreciate you.

As women, we often find ourselves feeling disconnected - together but alone. We thought today was such a fabulous opportunity to spread some peachy love around the world & give a voice to a few fearless females… So, the Sisterhood of the Travelling Peach was born. A Sisterhood of perfectly imperfect peaches, just ladies cheering on other ladies.

Do we need a reason to do that? Heck no! But we love love love International Women’s Day and thought it was such a fabulous opportunity to spread some peachy love. Check out our womanspiration below.

What makes you proud to be a woman?
I am proud to be a women because the world wouldn't survive without us, because we are capable to create and give life, because nowadays women are strong, they have a voice and they are heard, we fight for equality and always will. I am proud to be a woman because I am capable of everything, I am independent, have my own opinion and strong enough to take decisions and choose what my life will be.

What does being a woman mean to you?
Being a woman means being a warrior, fight for what we deserve, be heard and always stay strong. Being a women also means confidence and self love, it means loving yourself and be proud, we have to love ourselves before we can ever love someone else and be proud of what we can achieve.

What advice would you love to give to other women?
I would like to say to every single woman in this world, be confident, work hard, fight for what you rightfully earn, don't be afraid to fail, if you fall, stand up higher. Love yourself, be proud of yourself, you are awesome and don't be ashamed to cry, emotions make you stronger, don't be ashamed to be a woman because this world needs you and never apologize for being amazing, you are so much more than what people think you are so stand up and show the world what you are capable of.

What makes you proud to be a woman?
Despite all of the boundaries placed on us, we keep demanding and fighting for equality.

What advice would you love to give to other women?
We need to all stop treating each other as competition and start building each other up with love and compassion. We all have so many other battles to fight and we should be facing them together, not apart.

What makes you proud to be a woman?
Breaking through barriers.

What does being a woman mean to you?
Being fun and fierce every day!

What advice would you love to give to other women?
Never forget how incredible it is to be a woman.

What makes you proud to be a woman?
We tend to be the masterminds behind most great things.

What does being a woman mean to you?
That I have the ability to be strong, adaptable and nurturing.

What advice would you love to give to other women?
Don’t be so hard on yourself and other women. We are doing great things everyday!

What makes you proud to be a women?
I think our fight. Call it persistence, determination, maybe even stubbornness but despite all the adversities we face and pressures to conform to a certain ideology or societies expectations, whether that be how we should look, act, feel, behave etc. we push on. We exceed the invisible boundaries, we make our voices heard even when they aren't wanted and in a world were we are denied an opportunity, we create our own. Whatever you choose to call that, I'm proud of it and I am proud of how far we've come because of it.

What does being a women mean to you?
Being a woman to me means acknowledging the battles we have and may still face in today's society and recognising the weaknesses that we may be predisposed to from birth as part of our womanhood; but also identifying the strengths that come with this. Our bodies, minds and especially hearts are powerful tools, we have the ability to love and nurture like no other, and being a woman to me means putting that to good use to make positive change when required.

What advice would you give to other women?
I think Ellen DeGeneres had this one nailed - 'Be kind to one another'

What makes you proud to be a woman?
Because ‘There is no limit to how radiant and alive we can be’.

What does being a woman mean to you?
Continuously, continuously give love and let love in.

What advice would you give to other women?
‘Fall in love with becoming the very best version of yourself’.

What makes you proud to be a woman?
I am proud to be a woman for so many reasons. We can be so many things - mothers, daughters, sisters, CEO’s, strong, confident, beautiful, kind, caring - we are powerful beyond measure and when we decide to support each other that’s when magical things truly happen.

What does being a woman mean to you?
Being a woman to me is being formidable. A force of nature to be reckoned with. Gone are the days when we are expected to be submissive, docile little creatures - we are dominating our fields, changing the game and owning our narrative. Being a woman to me is being whoever I want to be - smart, sexy, compassionate, kind, unapologeticallyambitious and powerful. I want it all- and finally we as women are standing up and aren’t afraid not only to want more, but to take it..

What advice would you give to other women?
I would advise other women to be exactly who they want to be. If you want to be a stay at home mother and have always longed to care for your children and make a beautiful home for your family - then do it and wear that badge proudly. Similarly if you want to be a boss and graft 100 hours a week creating a brand and developing yourself professionally then own that narrative. Don’t apologise for being either of these things, or anything in between. Be unapologetically you and live the life you want with pride and compassion.

What makes you proud to be a woman?
I’m proud to always be able to look on the bright side and bring positivity to whatever situations I’m thrown into.

What advice would you love to give to other women?
It means giving a damn; consistently caring about what we do, our dreams, our beliefs and the people we love.

What advice would you love to give to other women?

Be an example of what you want to see in the world, other people draw from your strength and character - always bring what you have to the table!
